Party….Party…Party!

Watching the ball come down….. Welcome 2012

Robin Vuillermet, c0-owner of Union League and “yours truly”

THE MENU

Famous chef and author Jacques Pepin was among the guests
The balloom at Union League Cafe in New Haven was recreated into an evening in Paris. The 1920’s period dress of the staff and many of the guests added to the ambiance.
The lively band got the guests dancing and swinging.
The three course menu included dishes such as Flan de foie gras homardine (Hudson River duck foie gras custard, lobster bisque), Filet de boeuf a la Wellington (beef tenderloin in savory crust, mushrooms and winter truffle ragout, pommes Anna), and Omelette Norvegienne (Baked Alaska, vanilla bean ice cream and raspberry sorbet, light vanilla meringue)
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!
